Super Kadam wins championship

TVS Racing’s Karan Kadam, with 215 points, clinched the championship in the Foreign Motorcycles (Group ‘A’) class in the final round of the MRF National Supercross Championship here on Sunday.
Pune’s Yogesh Barguje, who was adjudged the best rider, won the moto. Karan and another Pune rider, Eeshan Lokhande, finished second and third respectively.
However, in the Foreign Motorcycles (intermediate) class, Karan had a fall and crashed out.
TVS Racing’s Arvind KP took the championship in the Class III (Indian Motorcycles, Group ‘D’, 110cc to 250cc/ four stroke), Class IV (Indian Motorcycles, novice, Group ‘D’, 80cc to 160cc/ two/ four stroke) and Class VI (Indian Motorcycles, Group ‘D’, 110cc to 160cc/ four stroke) categories.
Santosh CS, also of TVS Racing, took the Class II (Indian Motorcycles, Group ‘B’, 80cc to 150cc/ two stroke) championship, while Mumbai’s Rustom Patel took the Class V (Indian Motorcycles, Group ‘B’, 125cc to 250cc/ two/ four stroke) championship.
Results:
Class I: Foreign Motorcycles (Group ‘A’, upto 250cc/ two stroke and 450cc/ four stroke): Yogesh Barguje (Honda CR 250, Pune) 1; Karan Kadam (TVS 250X TVS Racing, Bangalore) 2; Eeshan  Lokhande (Honda CR 250, Pune) 3.
Class II: Indian Motorcycles (Group ‘B’, 80cc to 150cc/ two stroke): CS Santosh (TVS Shaolin, TVS Racing) 1; Arvind KP (TVS Shaolin, TVS Racing) 2; Rustom Patel (RX 100) 3.
Class III: Indian Motorcycles (Group ‘D’, 110cc to 250cc/ four stroke): CS Santosh (TVS Apache, TVS Racing) 1; Arvind KP (TVS Apache, TVS Racing) 2; R Raja (TVS Apache, TVS Racing) 3.
Class IV: Indian Motorcycles (novice, Group ‘D’, 80cc to 160cc/ two/ four stroke): Arvind KP (TVS Shogun, TVS Racing) 1; Natraj R (TVS Shogun, TVS Racing) 2; Sunil Kumar (RX 135, Bangalore) 3.
Class V: Indian Motorcycles (Group ‘B’, 125cc to 250cc/ two/ four stroke): Rustom Patel (RX 135, Mumbai) 1; Vishal Barguje (RX 135, Pune) 2; Basheer Ahmed (RX 135, Bangalore) 3.
Class VI: Indian Motorcycles (Group ‘D’, 110cc to 160cc/ four stroke): Arvind KP (TVS Fiero, TVS Racing) 1; Natraj R (TVS Fiero, TVS Racing) 2; Vishal Barguje (Yamaha YBX, Pune).
Class VII: Indian Motorcycles (Locals, Group ‘B’, 110cc to 250cc/ two/ four stroke): Mohd Azgar (RX 135, Bangalore) 1; Sunil Kumar P (Yamaha RXG, Bangalore) 3.
Class VIII: Foreign Motorcycles (Intermediate, Group ‘A’, upto 250cc/ two stroke, 450cc/ four stroke): Yogesh Barguje (Honda CR 250, Pune) 1; Eeshan Lokhande (Honda CR 250, Pune) 2; Veer Patel (Kawasaki KX 125, Goa) 3.
Best rider: Yogesh Barguje (Pune).
Final championship standings: Class I: Karan Kadam (215 points). Class II: Santosh CS (120). Class III: Arvind KP (113). Class IV: Arvind KP (105). Class V: Rustom Patel (102). Class VI: Arvind KP (100).
