Bahujan Samaj Party State Vice-President Marasandra Muniyappa, on Monday, ruled out the possibilities of an alliance with the Congress party in the coming Assembly polls.
Speaking to reporters, on Monday, Muniyappa alleged that the KPCC president Mallikarjuna Kharge has made baseless claims stating that Congress will have a tie-up with the BSP.
Muniyappa also said, the BSP has all the resources and strength to face the Assembly elections independently.
“The BSP candidates will contest in all the 224 Assembly constituencies. The party has been witnessing a growth and popularity in the State,” he said. He also said, the party will hold a ‘brotherhood convention’ on December 23, at the Palace Grounds, where leaders and cadres of various political parties will join the BSP, in the presence of the BSP National President Mayavati.
