Fr Muller Medical College Hospital will organise ‘National Oncology update, current concepts and practice,’ a seminar on December 16 at the hospital conference hall.
The seminar will be inaugurated and keynote address will be delivered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Honourary Vice-Chancellor Dr P S Prabhakaran while Fr Muller Charitable Institutions Director Fr Patrick Rodrigues will preside.
Image guided radiation therapy, overview of cancer, curable cancer, acute leukaemias in children, recent advances in radiation oncology, radiotherapy in gynaecological malignancies and other major topics will be covered by eminent oncologists from premier institutes like AIIMS, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, Apollo Hospital and other institutes.  Over 200 delegates from all over the country are expected to participate.
