After the phenomenal success of Anna Thangi, producer Prabhakar has made his costliest venture ever — Lava Kusha, at a cool Rs 6 crore! Starring Shivanna and Uppi, the film has Power Star Puneet singing Hot appa, Sakkat Hot appa. The movie releases today.

Boys and girls dressed in red and yellow colour sports suit were getting ready for the action in Kanteerava Indoor stadium recently. But, there were no spectators to witness their exercises. Don’t be surprised, this was no sports meet at the stadium. They were all ready to shoot for Aakaasha...  which is the first song in the movie Gaalipata.

Director Yogaraj Bhat was pleased as punch. Not only because his unit including renowned cameraman Ratnavelu had shot in locations that were difficult to scale, but also because his super hit Mungaaru Male completed one year in PVR, making history in the process. For the record, Gaalipata has been shot in Kollegal, Sakleshpur, Madikeri, Kalasa, Kodachadri and Shimsha.

Meanwhile executive producer Dayal revealed his ‘determination’ to release the film in theatres that showcased only Hindi films. Viewers can try their hand at flying kites only next month. Till then, falling leaves and increasing chill make wonderful companions.
