I am Legend (English)
I am Legend, starring the two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith is slated to release on 14th December nationally in English, Hindi and Tamil and on 28th December in Telugu. Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague - the Infected-lurk in the shadows…watching Neville’s every move…waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered…and quickly running out of time.
Warner Brothers Pictures presents in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Weed Road/Three Arts Entertainment Production, I Am Legend, starring Will Smith. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence. The screenplay is by Mark Protosevich and Akiva Goldsman, based on the screenplay by John William and Joyce H. Corrington. The film is based on the novel by Richard Matheson. Akiva Goldsman, James Lassiter, Erwin Stoff, David Heyman and Neal Moritz are the producers with Michael Tadross, Dana Goldberg and Bruce Berman serving as executive producers.

Single and just turned forty, the impulsive and wavering Eddie (Ben Stiller) starts to date the incredibly hot Lila (Malin Akerman). A fairly successful man, who runs a sportswear store in San Francisco, Eddie is determined to get hitched with someone. Thanks to his father and best friend’s encouragement, Eddie decides to propose the girl after knowing her for just a week - believing it’s his last chance at love, marriage and joy. While honeymooning somewhere in Mexico, Lila comfortably exposes her beyond-awful colours and the horrified Eddie comprehends what a mess he’s in! Eddie accidentally meets Miranda (Michelle Monaghan) and falls in love with her. So, to woo the lady of his dreams he sets out to keep his new bride at bay and tries to steal Miranda’s heart away.
Strangers (Hin)
Exploring the complexities involved in relationships, Strangers deals with an overnight journey where two of the film’s protagonists meet and decide to kill each other’s wife. The intensity of the story is showcased in a series of flashbacks. A number of shocking events are revealed as the story progresses. What follows is an array of twists and turns which would determine the life of the people involved.
Appachchi (Kannada)
Pooja from Kerala and Julie from Rajasthan are debuting opposite Kashinath in this film. Story-screenplay and direction is also by Kashinath. All the songs composed by Anamika have been sung by Kannadiga singers while Umapathi is the cameraman.
Lava Kusha (Kannada)
Shivanna-Upendra starrer Lava Kusha is releasing this week. Directed by Tragedy King Saiprakash, the film is produced by K Prabhakar whose last film Anna Thangi was a super hit. Jennifer Kothwal and Charmi are the leading ladies. Puneet Rajkumar singing for Shivanna is one of the highlights of the film. Music is by Gurukiran. Actor Mohan has written the dialogues and story. Camera is handled by R Giri. Girish Karnad, Satyajit, Satyaprakash, Ruttika, Sumitra, Hema Choudhry and others are in the cast.
