Mining licences issued to JD(S) leaders: BSY
DH News Service,Mysore:
Lashing out at H D Kumaraswamy, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa charged that he had issued mining licences to at least 14 former JD(S) MLAs just a day before resigning from the post of chief minister, after the BJP had withdrawn support to his government.

He was speaking at a massive convention in which former minister and prominent JD(S) leader G T Deve Gowda joined the BJP, here on Thursday. Noting that the move was against the law, Yeddyurappa also charged that the issue involves crores of rupees.
Meanwhile, he remarked that the Congress has been silent in this regard as there were similar corruptions during the Dharam Singh government as well.
“Congress and JD(S) know each other’s corruptions, they are like two faces of the same coin, I will expose them”, he criticised.
He stated that many a Congress leader, who are fed up with the party higher ups, will be joining the BJP shortly.
Training the gun on the Governor, Yeddyurappa observed that development has come to a standstill in his administration. “Ration is not being supplied properly, sugarcane farmers have not got compensation”, he pointed out.
The former chief minister also claimed that they will prevail upon the Central Election Commission to conduct the elections in the month of February.
Speaking on the occasion, G T Deve Gowda rued that he was sidelined in the JD(S).
