Seminar on students’ visa
The British Council is organising a seminar on ‘student visas’ in Bangalore through video-conference from the British Council in Chennai on December 18.

It will benefit all students who have secured admissions from UK institutions for the January /February 2008 intake and those looking to pursue higher studies in UK.

‘Switch-off’ to enlighten
In a unique effort, residents of ‘Temple Trees Apartment’ located at Jaraganahallai, J P Nagar on Kanakapura Road will switch off their lights and other electrical appliances for an hour on Saturday, to create awareness on global warming.

This move would create awareness among others on the issue, said P K Verma, Secretary of the Temple Tree Apartments Owners’ Welfare Association.
