Progressive (Chintanasheela) Kannada writer and Karnataka University Kannada professor Dr Shanta Imrapura has been selected to chair the Sixth State Level Women’s Convention which will be organised by Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat’s Kadali forum from January 17 to18 in Gadag.
Dr Shanta has authored more than 25 books including research and analytical works. She has been  honored with several awards, said Parishat president G R Channabasappa in a release.
