Speaking to reporters on Saturday Mr Krishnamurthy said that the under the scheme one adult member of every family who is willing to do unskilled work will be provided employment for a minimum of 100 days in a financial year.
Employment letter
A maximum of three members from one family are eligible to get employment under the scheme, he said.Employment letter would be provided to each member coming under the scheme.
This letter becomes an important document   to secure and remain in the job.
The scheme will be implemented through panchayat bodies he said. Later Mr Krishnamurthy participated in the General body meeting of Tumkur  ZP.  Members discussed various development works to be implemented in the district.
