A huge eucalyptus tree which fell on the Home Guards Squad Office at the tahasildar office premises about 6 months ago has not been removed to this day in Srinivaspura.
Remarkably, Home Guards Squad office was not damaged
severely , though the tree which is also in the tahasildar office premises fell on it.  Incidentally lot officials, staff workers and people move in the passage created by the leaning tree, officials have not  bothered to either remove the tree or even dispose the tree according to the government rules.
The incident is now at the centre of public discussion and people are ridiculing the officials for their apathy and negligence which has crossed all limits.
Would the officials be quite if the same thing had happened to their house? questioned citizens who are angry with the officials lackadaisical approach.
The incident seriously raises question over the efficiency of the government officials in far of places if taluk centre are being maintained this way.
