Sanjana makes main draw
Sanjana Rajsekar overcame Ritika Shand 8-6 in the final qualifying round in the girls under-14 section of the AITA Talent Series National-ranking tennis tournament at the Mahila Seva Samaja Tennis Club on Saturday.

Girls U-14: Anchal Machani bt Chandini HS 8-1; Navya S bt Sanchitha Chander 8-1; Sanjana Rajsekar bt Ritika Shand 8-6; Soumya Gupta bt Lakshmi Nikitha 8-1; nandini V bt Shreya Mahadevan 8-2; Devika Kumar bt Tejaswini 8-7 (7-5).
IACA register        facile victory
Anchoring on a splendid knock by Suhas Motwani, Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy (IACA) coasted to an 84-run victory over Lyceum International School, Colombo, on Saturday. Though Motwani missed the three-figure mark by just one run, IACA posted a challenging 281/5 in 50 overs. In reply, the visitors were skittled out for 197 in 43.3 overs as Abhishek and Kiran picked two wickets apiece for IACA.
Brief scores: Under-14: Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy: 281/5 in 50 overs (Suhas Motwani 99, Kunal Sanghvi 39, Shreyas 39, Aditya Ravi 37; Shaza 2-29, Nishanth 2-28) bt Lyceum International School: 197 all out in 43.3 overs (Nishanth 81, Ryan 28 n.o., Mustafa 27; Abhishek 2-24, Kiran 2-23).
Under-12: Lyceum International School: 154 all out in 27.1 overs (Nash 54, Nisal 26; Mohsin 3-10, Kunal Sanghvi 3-16, Ashwin Bala 2-16) lt to Imtiaz Ahmed Cricket Academy: 156/8 in 25.2 overs (Kunal Sanghvi 58; Sihan 2-31, Nisal 2-37).
Infosys lift        Sobha Trophy
Infosys defeated ABB by 49 runs to lift the Sobha Trophy in the Bangalore Sports Club’s corporate cricket tournament at the SJIBHS ground on Saturday.

Sobha Trophy: Infosys: 106/2 iin 8 overs (Nisar 26, Balaji 26) bt ABB: 57/4 in 8 overs (Abhay 3-11).

Indiranagar      enter final
Indiranagar Club got the better of Karnataka Badminton Association 4-3 to enter the final of Citi Nest inter-club badminton tournament on Friday. Indiranagar will meet Reliance Club, who dashed the title hopes of Citi Nest 4-3, in the decider.
Yadav edges out Kanwaljit
G S Yadav with 39 points won the President’s Medal golf tournament at the KGA on Saturday. Kanwaljit Singh finished second on 38 points .
