The seven-day painting exhibition of noted artist B D Jagadish began at Oxford Book Store in Leela Palace in the City on Sunday.

The exhibition, named ‘an endeavour to uncover different dimensions of life’, comprises paintings that depict conflicts of modern day  life, highlight the ironies of life and struggle that human beings are forced to make in contemporary society.

Cine actor Vishnuvardhan inaugurated the exhibition.  Actor B Saroja Devi, Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna paid visit to the exhibition. The exhibition is open for the public between 10 am and 9 pm till December 22.
