According to police, the deceased has been identified as Abdul Basheer. The incident occurred when the deceased and his nephew Abdul Kahder stopped the car to have a cup of tea in a roadside canteen. As they were having tea, two unidentified men who came in a mobike alighted near Bashir and hacked him to death. A case has been registered.
Three arrested
Police arrested three persons and recovered goods worth Rs 1 lakh at Ullal on Monday.
According to police, the arrested are Mohammed Irfan (21), Mohammed Hanif (20), Mohammed Fayaz. They were involved in eight theft cases in Kuthar and Deralakatte. Police have recovered gold, mobiles, mobikes from them. A case has been registered.
