Autorickshaw drivers affiliated to the Autorickshaw Drivers Union (ARDU) on Tuesday took to the streets in protest against "frequent" hikes in auto LPG prices.
Raghavendra, ARDU general secretary, said the “drastic” price hike had severely hit the autorickshaw drivers. The Union has suggested to the government to raise the minimum auto fare (for 2 km) to Rs 20.
Hey folks.. these guys already charge 6 Rupees/km saying that the petrol prices r too high while driving us in LPG. look at delhi.. the per KM rate is very low because they are running in CNG.. why this hyprocrisy. ?
