'Take world tour to spread religion'

New programmes will be undertaken for the overall development of the Udupi Sri Krishna mutt, said Puttige Mutt seer Sugunendra Teertha swamiji...


Swamiji who came here on Tuesday from Hassan as a part of his on going 12 tour before ascending the Pariyaya Peeta was welcomed with Poorna Kumbha form Kerekodi circle to Kote area where Raghavendra mutt is situated.

I will enter the Udupi on December 28 and will the ascend Pariyaya Peeta on January 18, said swamiji who was speaking at the function arranged at the Raghavendra Mutt by the devotees.

As a head of a Mutt one should not veil away their in the corridors of the mutt rather one should undertake world tour to spread awareness about our religion and should also unify the devotees who are spread all over the world, said swamiji who justified his foreign tour and said that Hinduism is one of the most revered religion in the world and is held in high esteem by others.

Citing the necessity to create awareness about  the religion he said that it has become essential to build confidence among the Hindus and urged all the seers to think in this direction.

Sri Krishna Geeta Education Centre, Sri Krishna Nyayalaya, Anna Brahma Bhojana Shale, Vishwayatrinivas, Self Employment Centre, Vajra Kavacha for Sri Krishna, Ratna Ratha, Goshala and other important programmes and schemes will be undertaken, said swamiji who asked devotees cooperation in fulfiling his mission.

The swamiji will visit Chinmaya Krishna Mandir on the invitation from Proona Prajnananda swamiji and leave will for the Arasikere.
