The Konkan Railway corporation has introduced 64 more winter trains via Konkan route to cater to the extra rush of passengers to Konkan region during winter. Of these, there are two trains passing through Mangalore Junction. They are, Dadar-Ernakulam- Dadar weekly train and the Dadar- Kochuveli- Dadar weekly train.
Dadar-Ernakulam
Train number 165 will leave Dadar every Wednesday at 12.45 pm from December 19 to January 9 and reach Ernakulam at 3.45 pm the next day. It reaches Mangalore Junction at 6.45 am on Thursday. Train number 166 will leave Ernakulam every Thursday at 7.45 pm from December 20 to January 10 and will reach Dadar at 11.55 pm the next day. It reaches Mangalore Junction at 5.05 am on Friday. The train will have 17 coaches.
Dadar- Kochuveli
Train number 167 will leave Dadar every Saturday at 12.45 pm and reach Trivandrum at 8.30 pm the next day from December 15 to January 12. It reaches Mangalore Junction at 6.45 am on Sunday. Train number 168 will leave Kochuveli every Monday at 12.45 pm from December 17 to January 14 and reach Dadar at 11.55 pm the next day. It reaches Mangalore Junction at 3.45 am on Tuesday. The train has 17 coaches.
