Art to cancer patients’ aid

It’s an art gallery for a cause. ‘SWASTI’, the art gallery at Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd., an oncology healthcare provider, is aimed at bringing a ‘moment of respite’ for cancer patients. The first exhibition, called `Spectrum’, will be unveiled on December 22 at HGE Centre in Sampangiramnagar. It is an initiative of Ms Bhagya Ajaykumar, who teaches visual arts at University School of Designs, Mysore. A part of the money generated through auction would be shared between artists and HGE Foundation. The amount will be used for subsidising treatment for cancer patients. Cine actors Naseeruddin Shah and Tara will inaugurate the gallery.
