PG in Medicine and Dentistry at Manipal University

Admissions to post graduate courses in Medicine and Dentistry at Manipal University are currently open. Students can apply for admissions in either of the following ways:

Online http://admissions.manipal.edu . Payment via credit card or DD
Requesting for an application form by writing to Director, Admissions, Manipal University, Manipal – 576104, along with a Demand Draft for Rs.500 drawn in the name of Manipal University made payable at Manipal, Udupi or Bangalore.

The application forms are also available at select branches of State Bank of India and select branches of MeritTrac Offices.

Similar to 2007, Manipal University is giving students an added advantage of taking these exams online. Online entrance examinations for admission to these courses are available online at 19 designated test centres in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Manipal, Mangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Bhubaneshwar, Coimbatore,  Gangtok and Guwahati.

Candidates can schedule tests at their own convenience and are allowed to take the test multiple times. Those writing other tests will not have any difficulty, since the online test will be held over a period of time and not on a single day, unlike other entrance examinations.

The test centres are ergonomically designed with the latest computers for every student, high security communication network for electronic delivery of the test and use of bio-metric and hi-tech monitoring systems to prevent impersonation and foul play. Each computer is fitted with a web camera, which takes an image of the candidate every 20 minutes
