Computer course from NIOS

The National Institute of Open Schooling under the Department of Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India is offering a one year certificate course in Computer Applications (CCA), six months certificate course in Desk Top Publishing (CDTP), six months computer hardware assembly and Maintenance (CHAM) through one of its Accredited Vocational Institute AVI-580016 - YMCA Computer Academy at Nrupathunga Road, Bangalore 560 001.
The last date for submitting the applications is December 31, 2007 for the 2007-2008 batch.

The requisite qualification is 10th pass and there is no age limit. The fee structure is affordable. The course is offered to encourage all those who are working/not working, students, retired people and housewives, but who are interested to learn.  The course materials and certificates are provided by the NIOS, New Delhi.
