This fest, organised to relive the history of freedom struggle under the theme of “Indian freedom struggle,” brought together the talents of Mangalore University. Various events related to the history of India’s struggle for independence was enacted on the stage through different events such as skit, fancy dress, mono-act, patriotic song, dance, quiz, slogans, speech and museum.
As many as 8 colleges of Mangalore University participated.
Chief guest of the function U R Sabhapati recalled the history of Bharath Sevadal and called upon the youth to step into 21st century with positive self confidence. Another chief guest Walter Nandalike enthused the students by narrating his own success story. He advised youngsters to keep away from bad habits and to be broad minded and urged them to go for originality. Principal in-charge Prof Hilda Rodrigues presided.
