With this, the number of cases registered by the CBI has gone up to seven. The CBI said one of the cases relates to the rape of a women and her two daughters by CPM leaders on March 14. The FIR alleged that a local CPM leader, along with his supporters, in a drunken state raped a woman and her two daughters for two days.
Moreover, the local leader had handed over poison as medicine to the daughters who were complaining of medical ailment.
Though the names of the accused were given out as Badal Guruadasda, Sunil Bar, Sudershan Gurudasda, Gopal Gurudasda, T R Das and Chaiyni Shit, a senior CBI official suspects that these were the names of dead.Two other cases were registered against unnamed people who went on a rape and looting spree on the day of police firing.
