Speaking to reporters in Bangalore, the party General Secretary Shambhu Srivastava said the party’s State unit has been receiving feelers from leaders of different parties, including the JD(S), in this regard. He was speaking after holding a meeting with the party workers.

He further said immediate focus will be to reactivate the party in the State and boosting the morale of the workers, who opposed opportunistic politics and believe in practising value-based politics.

The party would field its candidates only where it has strong base in the coming Assembly elections, he added.
