2 held for murder
DH News Service, KGF:

BEML police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a woman. Earlier, it was suspected that the woman had committed suicide. Venkatalaxmamma of Karapanahalli was found dead on September 2 near a paddy field.

A bottle of poison was also found next to her giving the impression that she had committed suicide. The truth came out when the forensic laboratory report reached the police.

The report stated that she was murdered. Police then booked a murder case and started investigating. It was later learnt that the culprits had strangled her to death in connection with an illicit affair.

Venkatalaxmamma’s brother-in-law Krishnappa and relative Suresh had killed her. Prime suspect Narayanaswamy alias Nareppa is still at large.
