The movie being directed by Ravi Srivatsva is produced by Pyramid Saimira Production International Ltd (PSPIL), a multinational entertainment company.

“The Kannada film industry is a key part of the Indian film industry especially on the cultural front. Kannada film industry has also nurtured some of the finest talent in Indian cinema, including Dr Raj Kumar, Vishnuvardhan, Ambarish, Aarathi, Bharathi, Manjula, Ravichandran, Shankar Nag, Anant Nag, Girish Karnad, Girish Kasarvalli, Upendra and Narasimharaju.
“Omm will prove to be the rarest movies in the Kannada film industry. Our plan of having a good film release every two months in Karnataka is now closer to achievement”, P S Saminathan, Managing Director, Pyramid Saimira Group, said at the launch of the project.
The event also marked the completion of “Avva”, under the PSPIL banners, directed by Kavitha Lankesh, featuring popular actor Vijay. PSPIL has also signed Darshan, for two movies, in January 2009 and January 2010.
The company is also producing “Putta”, an action packed, commercial venture, which features actor Vijay.
This movie is being directed by Om Prakash, an established director with more than 25 movies to his credit.
Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd (PSTL) currently operates in 123 theatres in Karnataka. The company has rapidly ramped up its presence in Karnataka, with close to six films that will soon be released in the theatres that are operated by PSTL in Karnataka.
PSTL has also acquired distribution rights for Naa Tata, nee Birla; Ganesha mathe banda and Minchina ota.
