Taare Zameen Par (Hindi)

Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary) is an eight-year-old boy whose mind is filled with colourful images of dogs, kites, fish and extraordinary shades of life. Yet, he finds it impossible to express himself to his loved ones. His parents — fixated with worries pertaining to his homework, marks and discipline — choose to send the dyslexic child to a boarding school where he feels forlorn and is compelled to face the ordeal of homesickness. A new teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh (Aamir Khan) brings in a whiff of fresh air. He encourages students to dream, think and follow their hearts and when he realises that Ishaan is unhappy, he plans to know more and seeks to help him out.

Welcome (Hindi)

However, Rajiv’s uncle, Dr Ghunghroo (Paresh Rawal) does not approve of his nephew’s association with a dubious family. Meanwhile, Sanjana meets Rajiv on a cruise and the two fall in love. Hilarity ensues as each of the diametrically different brothers’ of Sanjana begin engaging in smart and engagingly comic stunts to get the uncle to agree to the alliance. Also starring Mallika Sherawat and Anil Kapoor.

Bee Movie (English)

Take a close look at the world through the eyes of one bee in particular — Barry B Benson (Jerry Seinfeld). A recent college graduate, Barry wants more out of life than the inevitable career that awaits him and every other worker in New Hive City. Barry jumps at the chance to venture out of the hive and when he meets a quirky florist named Vanessa (Renee Zellweger), he breaks one of the cardinal rules of beedom — he talks to her. A friendship soon develops and he meanwhile makes a shocking discovery — that anyone in the human race can purchase honey right off the grocery store shelf. He realises that his true calling is to stop this injustice and set the world right. Also in the cast are Matthew Broderick, John Goodman and Chris Rock.

This Christmas (English)

Upon gathering under one roof after a period of seven years, Christmas, for the Whitfields, offers an opportunity to rediscover long forgotten bonds. The reunion has also brought along with it a big baggage of secrets, family truths and spicy surprises. Meant to be a delightful holiday and a highly desired respite for the folks, the Christmas break soon turns sour when a chain of nasty events take place leaving some members annoyed. Starring Delroy Lindo, Idris Elba, Loretta Devine and Regina King.
