Stir, is the latest and trendy coffee shop set up in a lively, bright setting serving world cuisine that includes Indian, European and Mediterranean cuisine. Spread over 3,000 sq ft, it is attached with an alfresco dining area under a pergola.
The three course meals is complete with an entree, main course and dessert, wholesome platter and combination meals, both Indian and continental, smoked salmon, Australian lamb chops and Norwegian salmon steaks. The wellness options include roasted beet salad fisherman’s stew.
There is a whole range of burgers or sandwiches with a choice of breads and fillings.
For starters Wild mushroom cappuccino is a creamy soup of button and shitake mushroom.
While the non-vegetarian option is a Hungarian lamb goulash, a mildly flavoured lamb broth with cumin and tomatoes.
Light bites include crostinis (topped with sundried tomatoes and olive tapenade), chicken frankies, bagels with lox (brine cured salmon) or the Italian range of pastas, pizzas and rissotos. Pizza Diavola is topped with tomato, cheese and spicy salami. Risotto has a healthy mix of asparagus, broccoli, zucchini, spinach and ruccola.
Indian favourites include Tulsi prawn tikka, Malai til bhutta, kakori kabab and the classic Nalli Amristsari - lamb shanks cooked in rich onion gravy with spices. For a light snack there is fried idli, served with mulgapudi and chutney.
The dessert menu has choices like the sinful dark chocolate mousse, malai kulfi or a section of low calorie desserts that include vanilla yoghurt with apricots and fruit balls with ginger and honey.
