Janapada Jathre held
Janapada Jaathre performance held at BBMP grounds in RPC layout (Hampi Nagar) drew huge crowds on Sunday. The artistes enthralled the audience with their performances.  The programme was organised by the Kannada and Culture Department. Kolata, Pooja Kunitha, Goravara Kunitha, Karaga Kolata and other folk art forms were also performed.

Meet on December 27
Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan will hold its 80th annual conference on December 27. The conference will be inaugurated by Governor Rameshwar Thakur. External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will preside.
