Their is no groupism in JD(S), opined G K Venkatshiva Reddy who said that he has been newly appointed as the JD(S) party district president.
He was speaking at the Sugutur hobli level JD(S) workers meeting held at Madanahalli village on Sunday.
District level workers convention will be arranged to strengthen party, expressed Venkatshiva Reddy who said that in order to strengthen the party at the grassroot level various conventions will be held at taluk, hobli and gram panchayat levels.
Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy didn’t betray anybody but their was only confusion in the power sharing which lead to the debacle, opined Reddy who said that Kumaraswamy had won trust of people through his pro-people policies.
JD(S) is confident of winning 4 to 5 seats out of the 6 assembly seats in the district, expressed Reddy who said that neither Congress nor BJP has no future in the district.
There are nearly 4 to 5 contests in each constituency who are interested in contesting election but one should first serve and strengthen the party, opined Reddy who said that party seniors will decide the candidates who will contest and workers irrespective of the candidate should work towards his win.
Leaders Kallur Nanjappa, Chalapathi, Shashidhar, Suresh, Gowdanahalli Muniswami, Totli Venkateshappa, Govindreddy, Javanegowda, Oorigili Satish, Dr Shabbirpasha and others were present.
