Rushdie dating actress Fisher

Author Salman Rushdie is rumoured to be dating Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher. The duo was spotted in London having a meal together, reports IANS from London.

Contactmusic.com reports that the two ate at the posh London restaurant The Ivy and reports claim Fisher could not keep her hands off Rushdie.

Rushdie is in the middle of divorcing his wife Padma Lakshmi after three years of marriage. They split in July and Lakshmi denied rumours that the marriage ended because she was unfaithful.

Spears to star in new movie

Pop star Britney Spears is in talks to star in a movie called Memoirs of a Medicated Child, reports IANS from New York.
Spears is expected to seek inspiration from her own life where she has had to appear in court to fight custody battles.
The film is a true story based on Mark Black who was wrongfully dosed and then imprisoned. Spears will star opposite Ross Tyler who plays the lead role.

Keeping her pace with the modern internet technology, the Britain’s oldest monarch Elizabeth II will post her Christmas Day speech on YouTube this year, reports UNI from London.

A Royal Channel on YouTube featuring archive and recent footage of the Queen and other Royals went live on Saturday night.

The move coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Queen’s first ever televised Christmas speech, which she delivered live to the nation in 1957.
