Prakash meet on political future
Bangalore, dhns: Former deputy chief minister M P Prakash will hold a meeting of his supporters here on December 27 to decide his future political move. Mr Prakash told reporters on Monday he will decide which party he should join after the meeting. “BJP leaders have invited me, but I have not taken any decision,” he said.

Bangalore, dhns: The BJP’s victory in Gujarat Assembly elections reverberated in Bangalore, with party workers celebrating the win with the hope it would put up a similar performance in the State. The party on Monday held ‘Vijayotsava’ in front of Town Hall here. City unit president B N Vijayakumar said Congress President Sonia Gandhi is answerable to the allegations she made against Narendra Modi.
RI for funds misuse
Bangalore, dhns: Principal and Sessions Judge and Special Judge for CBI cases, Dharwad, Pradeep Walgaonkar on Monday convicted a railway employee for misappropriating official funds. The chargesheet was filed seven years ago by the Anti Corruption Branch of CBI, Karnataka.
Meanwhile, the CBI, Anti-Corruption branch, Karnataka has registered 25 cases, against Central government employees in the State pertaining to fraud and possessing disproportionate income.
