Akali Talks To Resume After Jan 5
Hyderabad, Dec. 25.

Punjab Chief Minister Darbara Singh said here today that talks with the Akalis would be reopened after January 5.

He told newsmen that the Akali leaders need not fear arrests as he himself would take them to Delhi for talks with the Prime Minister.

Mr Darbara Singh said the real problem was that the Akalis wanted to gain power through agitation instead of arriving at a solution through negotiations.
