A man died in an accident on Mysore-Bangalore highway near Nayandahalli on Wednesday.
Venkatesh (50), a resident of Indiranagar, was riding a two-wheeler. While he was passing the Nayandanahalli gate on his motorcycle, a BMTC bus knocked him down. Later, a tanker coming from behind ran
over him.
Woman ends life
A woman committed suicide by hanging at her house on Rama Mandira Road, in Kamakshipalya police station limits, on Tuesday.  Police said Shanthamma (23) married Ravi three years ago. She took this step as she was being harassed for dowry. Ravi has been
arrested.
