Scholarships from Jindal
Sitaram Jindal Foundation (formerly known as S J Jindal Trust) offers educational scholarships all over India to economically weak but academically bright students (both boys and girls) studying in graduation/ post-graduation courses in Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Science, Arts, Commerce etc., as well as Diploma in Engineering and PUC/ IISC/ Intermediate course. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, students should have secured a minimum of 60 per cent marks in their previous examination. Students studying in courses like LLB, LLM, ACA, AICWA, ACS etc and those studying in the last year of other courses need not apply.
Girl students studying in IX, X, XI and XII standards, if studying other than in non-government schools and paying fees are also eligible for scholarship, if they have secured minimum 50 per cent marks.

PG-PRM from RAI
The Common Admission Retail Test (CART) will select the best talents for RAI’s Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management (PG-PRM)
Modern retailing in India is witnessing a transformation with the emergence of department stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets, specialty stores and malls. With the phenomenal growth in the organised retail sector the demand for quality manpower is also rapidly increasing. The availability of suitable talent to aid this growth has been a challenge that organised retail players are grappling with.
To respond to this growing demand for retail ready manpower in retail, Retailers Association of India (RAI) is offering the Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management (PGPRM) through 15 chosen B-schools all over the country. These B-Schools have been selected with meticulous attention to every detailed parameter such as having the right infrastructure facilities, dedicated faculty resource, library etc.
To select the best of talents into the course, the selection of students is through a Common Admission Retail Test (CART).
CART Application forms will be available through Career Launcher Centres, select branches of Axis Bank, all PGPRM Partnering B-schools, and all retail outlets of Shoppers' Stop, Croma, Vishal Mega Mart, Viveks Ltd., Landmark Bookstores, Odyssey Bookstores, Big Bazaar, Crossword Bookstores and Kirtilals (details on these centres available at www.rai.net.in/www.cart2008.com ). The application forms are also available online.
A pool of faculty members from the retail sector in India have prepared the course content and they will deliver guest lectures in these partnering B-Schools, so that the students can get to have a meaningful interface with the right industry resources.
CART will be conducted in 25 cities and would comprise of Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Consumer Comprehension. The test time would be 90 minutes. The first CART will be conducted on 27 January 2008.
Online guidance
An educational support system after school hours is a must. To cater to this need of the students, there are numerous coaching centres and private tutors. Many of these support systems charge the students on the basis of the number of subjects they teach.

Registration to this website is absolutely free. The portal works on the system of earning points. When students answer the queries of their peers, they earn certain number of points which can be used to take the help of experts. There are various other ways of earning points. This also makes the students self-reliant.
