World disabled day will be celebrated on December 27 at Gurubhavan under the aegis of Taluk  Disabled Welfare Department and other organisations. Zilla Panchayat President Krishnamurthy will preside over the function.
 Deputy Commissioner S R Umashankar will inaugurate the event.  Chief Executive Officers Manoj Kumar and Meena will distribute the  disabled equipment and pension allotment certificate for disabled.  Sub-division officers and deputy directors, Women and Children Welfare Department will also participate in the event.  Former MLAs , taluk panchayat presidents, vice-presidents, taluk level officers will participate in the function, said Chief Secretary.
Mipsed training
 Training programme for the candidates who were selected under Prime Minister Rojgaar Project will be held on december 27, said Institute Director M Chandrashekhar.
Accommodation will be provided to the selected candidates. The inauguration will be held on December 27 at 10am in Hirehalli  Mipsed’s premises.   Selected candidates are requested to be present at the premises with the required documents, said a release. If they fail to turn up, thye must infrom the authorities concerned.
