In another exam related mix-up, marked maps were provided for students in the BA 5th semester history exam of Kuvempu University on Wednesday.
In the question paper of 5th semester history exam, 10 marks was allotted for identifying places in map. A copy of map of Europe was furnished for the students and were asked to identify the places. However places asked in the question paper were marked in the maps provided for the students in some exam centres. Though mmediately the maps were withdrawn, students were in possession of the marked maps till the end of the exam in few centres. Vice Chancellor Prof B S Sherigar who was in Davangere was unaware of the issue.
When contacted, the Vice Chancellor told Deccan Herald that he would look into the issue on Thursday.
