On Thursday, DCP (West) Sharath Chandra told Deccan Herald it’s a “sensitive issue” and police wanted to search the house. “However, Sudha's parents requested us not to enter the house until Friday. They have some belief (that none should enter house as long as the lamp is burning) and we don't want to force them.”
“We have definite clues and all we need is material evidence. Once the child is ready to give statements, things will fall into place.”
Most relatives who visited Manisha said they were not interested in giving her for adoption.
