From paper-folded reindeers and paper sculptured ballerinas to pop-up 3-D greeting cards for the New Year, the creative workshop sessions organised by the British Library had children engaged in paper crafts on Thursday.
The three-day workshop had been arranged for British Library members.
The morning session on ‘Creating Greeting Cards (pop-up style) was for the age group of 7 to 11 years, while the afternoon session on ‘paper sculpture’ was for the age group of 12 to 16 years.
The children, who were on their Christmas break, said they were enjoying themselves as they liked crafts. The pop-up style greeting card session was about teaching children to create 3-D objects out of 2-D paper by cutting and folding, said paper artiste Arun Desai.
On Friday, there will be two sessions on fun with music, while theatre activities have been planned for Saturday. The timings of sessions on both days is 10 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Call 22489220 for details.
