Most of the farmers in the district are entirely dependent on Dairy farming and hike in prices have given them relief to little extent. But the statement by BJP leaders opposing the hike in milk prices is a gimmick to attract voters, he added.
At the same time he said that the BJP leaders’ statement exposes their negligence in the welfare of the farmers. Though the KMF has taken the decision recently, the farmers can heave a sigh of relief, the protesters  added.
They have also warned BJP leaders not to interfere in the prices of milk and
concentrate on the welfare of farmers.
