Though the much-awaited Kannada movie ‘Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melide?’ is expected to be released on December 28 all over the State, disappointment is in store for Mangaloreans as Prabhat Talkies, where the movie is to be screened, has decided not to screen it on Friday.
Owing to the pressure by the activists of Sri Rama Sene, the theatre has decided not to screen the movie on Friday, theatre sources told Deccan Herald.
The activists on Thursday have torn the publicity posters displayed in the city and put the cut-outs afire.
The activists have destroyed the cut-outs and posters at Lady Hill, KSRTC bus stand, Bunts Hostel Circle, PVS Circle and other places indicating their anger against Prem’s film ‘Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melide?’.
