The Railway Ministry today announced that it
had suspended the operation of Samjhauta Express and Thar Express --

Pakistan Railway has been informed about the decision accordingly, a Railway Ministry spokesman said.

The government also cancelled for Delhi-Lahore bus in view of the situation in Pakistan.

The former Pakistani premier's assassination and the subsequent violence in Pakistan has heightened concerns here.
