The Congress is taking all steps to ensure that the party does not face the same fate in Karnataka, as in Gujarat.
The Congress party is working on the poll strategy on a war-footing.
“We should be out with it in the next 10 to 15 days,” said former chief minister and chairman of Administrative Reforms Commission Veerappa Moily.
Speaking to reporters in Bangalore on Thursday, Moily said the party is holding a two-day national workshop on February 1 and 2 at New Delhi for all Pradesh Congress Committee spokespersons.
“They will come back and hold similar workshop at the State and district levels for media and district level party workers. We are also working on making the leaders accountable for selecting candidates. Ticket will given only on performance and achievement basis,” said Moily ruling out the possibility of taking in rebels, without properly studying their secular credentials.
