The conference will throw light on talents and achievements of Kannadigas all over the world, the theme being ‘Showcasing the Talent and Heritage of World Kannadigas’, said AKKA president Ramesh Gowda at a press conference in Bangalore on Thursday.
He said, this time, the conference is being hosted by Vidyaranya Kannada Kuta of Illinois at Rosemont Convention Center near O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. About 7,000 people are expected to participate, he said and added that registration of persons wishing to take part in the conference had already begun. About 30 committees have been formed for managing the event.

The conference will offer a unique ‘Karnataka Through Ages’ programme depicting Karnataka’s rich culture and heritage, recent technology boom and about what lies ahead, through a display of exquisite artifacts, audio-visual presentations, paintings and photographs, among others.
