Bannerghatta park open on Jan 1
Zoo Authority of Karnataka has decided to keep Bannerghatta Biological Park open on Tuesday, on the occasion of new year. Tuesday is actually a weekly holiday for the Park.
The Authority has requested the public to visit the zoo which houses lion, tiger, bear and a butterfly park. The park also has safaris and elephant rides.
Power cut
Power supply will be disrupted on December 30 between 9 am and 3 pm on Cottonpet Main Road, Nrupathunga Road, Palace Road, Seshadri Road, Post Office Road, Kanteerava Stadium, Nagarathpet, Century Club, Central Library, Kempegowda Road, Avenue Road, SJP Road, Old Taluk Office Road, NR Road, City Market, AS Char Street, BVK Iyengar Road, Victoria Hospital Compound, Kalasipalyam Bus Stand, JC Road, Chamarajpet, VV Pura, Shankarpura, Basavanagudi, parts of Shankarpura V Cross, parts of Bull Temple Road, parts of Mysore Road and KR Road, Gandhi Bazaar, Vani Vilas Road, RV Road, Sajjan Rao Circle, Lalbagh West Gate and surrounding areas. Call 12660 to lodge complaints.
    There will be no power supply on December 30 between 10 am and 4 pm at Chandapura, Anekal, Attibele, Yaradanahalli and surrounding areas.
