The busy Kumarakrupa Road will once again wear the look of a traditional folk exhibition on Sunday, as artists will display affordable art - paintings, graphic prints, miniature formats and sculpture - during the Chitra Santhe.
Organised by the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat (KCP), more than 1500 artists from all over India will showcase their works at the exhibition which will be held between 9 am and 7 pm.The Kumarakrupa road will be closed to traffic as artists will put up stalls to display their exotic art works.
“The main aim of the Santhe is to get all the artists on a single platform to demonstrate and showcase their skills and their contribution towards art especially visual art,” said KCP president T Prabhakar.
Parking arrangements for vehicles have been made at the Bharat Seva Dal play grounds and Gandhi Bhavan, he added.
