Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has put off his scheduled discharge from the hospital from Saturday to Sunday.
Former CM put off his schedule by a day following advise from his father-former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, who believed that Saturday is not an auspicious day to shift from a place. Mr Gowda had consulted his family astrologers in this regard, sources said.
“His (Kumaraswamy) discharge from the hospital has been postponed by a day. He will be discharged on Sunday morning at 8 am... It was thought that Saturday was not the right day to leave a place,” Dr C N Manjunath, who is Kumaraswamy’s brother in law, told Deccan Herald.
He also said that former CM has been advised to take rest for next four weeks. There after he can actively take part in political activities, he added.
