WHERE'S the party t'night?

New Year in the cave
Start the New Year at Guhantara, fully underground resort. for a spectacular start to the New Year. Open to couples and priced at Rs 2,500, the festivities will open at 8 pm on December 31 and go on till 12.30 am on January 1.

To make the evening a memorable one, DJ Bob from Hyderabad will enthral audiences with his musical dexterity while the group Extremist will dazzle audiences with the fascinating moves of its group members. The whole event will be anchored by well known RJ Nanda.

New Year ball
KON-CAB, the Konkani Catholic Association of Bangalore is organising a New Year Ball-2008 on the eve of New Year, Dec 31 at St Germain’s High School Quadrangle from 9 pm onwards. Earlier there will be a holy mass (prayer service) at 7.30 pm. There will be sound and lights, tambola and prizes galore. Senek D’Souza and team will present some scintillating music.

What’s more?
* Stir at the Taj Gateway has a special New Year’s eve buffet with entertainment and select alcohol. Potluck Café has devised a special New Year’s eve menu comprising of grills and wines with an a la carte dinner.

* Party goers can let their hair down with DJ's spinning the latest tracks along with an array of Indian foods at Xtasy 2008 at Grand Ashok, organised at ‘Kalinga’. The event will have DJ Sasha, DJ Swing, VJ Rahman and an international performance by Julia on the turntable from 8 pm onwards on December 31.

* ‘Raj Pavilion’ and ‘Royal Afghan’ at The Windsor come together to offer a classy evening.

DJ Allano from Mumbai will unleash his pulsating sounds of music. Michael Agars will light up the pool side with his magical versatility with myriad instruments.

A dance floor by the poolside and a luxurious buffet spread along with premium beverages at your beck and call will complete the evening.  ‘Dakshin’ is hosting a special event for those looking for a refined evening of quiet togetherness with their loved ones. An exquisite sit-down dinner featuring the best of Dakshin's menu with coastal and regional delights is the highlight of the evening. A cultural treat awaits in the form of a Carnatic percussionist.
