MLC Sudarshan appeals for peace
DH News Service, Vemgal:
Member of Legislative Council V R Sudarshan visited Bettahosapura village, where new and old Congressmen clashed with each others, and appealed to maintain peace.

He asked both the camps to sort out any issues amicably and asked them not to take law into their hands.
He also offered to arrange a meeting in consultation with Union minister K H Muniyappa and legislator Krishna Byregowda. “Let us all sit together and sort out all the issues,” he said.

Earlier, he visited a few houses, which were damaged in the attack by the new Congressmen.

When the villagers complained to him about the failures of the police he instructed the police officers present there to be alert.

Congress leaders Chandre Gowda, Dalit leaders Muniyappa and Narayanappa were also present on the occasion.
