Bar brawl brings traffic to halt
DH News Service, Bangalore:

Gangenahalli residents on the 5th Main Road protested against the atrocities of bar employees and demanded an enquiry into the case.

For nearly an hour, around 10.30 am traffic came to a halt on the busy bazaar street on Sunday morning.

Reason
Two schoolchildren were allegedly beaten up by Swati bar and restaurant workers.

RT Nagar police following mounting pressure by the residents were forced to book a case.

Sources said Deccan Herald that the residents started fuming after two kids were beaten up by the bar workers.
Within minutes, locals gathered in numbers, pelted stones and demanded the closure of the bar.

Bar's version
The two kids along with electricians went on the terrace to remove the electrical bulbs which were used to decorate during Rajyotsava celebrations.

While the electricians were busy removing the lights, the two kids tried to steal empty bottles and were caught.
Some customers, who were in front of the counters slapped the boys and advised them not to get into such habits.
