BJP MP S Mallikarjna expressed his confidence in the party winning the majority in the forthcoming elections as the people would teach a lesson to the JD(S) for its betrayal.
He was speaking to reporters after inspecting the arrangements for welcoming the Janajagruti rally, taken out by the BJP. In Huliyurudurga Assembly constituency the BJP activists have been working hard on preparing for the rally. The Janajagruti yagre, led by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, will come from Tiptur to Turuvekere where a public meet will be organised before coming to Huliyurudurga.
In Huliyurudurga, after offering worship at Channabasaveswara Swamy temple, a procession will be taken out through the main road.
Huliyurudurga block BJP president K M Timmappa said, some of the JD(S) and Congress leaders and activists will join Bharatiya Janata Party on this occasion.
