The yatra was launched in different parts of the country on November 20, with an intention to create awareness among people about the historical and mythological significance of Ram Sethu, the release said. The chariot will arrive arrive at Kunigal on December 5 at 10am. Later, the procession will go through Turuvekere, Tiptur, Gubbi, Chikkanayakanahalli, Tumkur, Koratagere, Madhugiri and Pavagadga taluks and conclude at Sira on December 8 an 4 pm.
In Tumkur city the yatra will arrive on December 6. The procession will kick off from Gubbi gate at 6 pm and a public gathering will be addressed at 7 pm at Harapete circle. Sri Shivananda Swamiji and Sri Karibasava Rajendra Swamiji will bless the occasion, the release said.
